		<abstract>This paper presents a performance analysis of a Fourier-based textural feature extraction procedure. The textural classifications are based in the Euclidian distance method and are accomplished in two experiments. This analysis was done using a software called Ambiente de Processamento de Sinais e Imagens  APSI developed for this purpose.</abstract>
